Passengers were evacuated after a massive bomb threat rattle crew and police aircraft along the way
The San Diego to Honolulu flight took an incredible turn Tuesday morning as passengers reportedly pose a bomb threat, just as the plane was preparing to take off.
The aircraft’s Hawaiian Airlines Flight HA 15 had already left the gate when he said something uneasy that caught the attention of its crew. Within minutes, the pilot piloted the Airbus A330 away from the other planes and into a quiet part of the airfield.

Emergency services weren’t too late. Police and federal agents were swarming the plane, and all on board, all 283 passengers, were asked to disembark at about 10:30am.
One passenger captured the moment an armed officer boarded the plane and shared a short video online with the caption, “A bomb threat was called on the plane.”
Hawaiian Airlines later confirmed the incident and said it had heard the guest had threatened. “As a precaution, the captain moved the plane to a safe place where law enforcement encountered,” they added.
Police dog searches for planes and the airport runs smoothly
The plane was later inspected by a K9 unit trained to detect explosives, but so far none has been found to be dangerous. Authorities have not yet named the passengers involved, and it is unclear whether charges have been filed.
Meanwhile, the rest of the airport continued as normal. Other flights were unaffected and the atmosphere remained calm outside the incident area.
No one was injured, but for passengers who thought they would drink cocktails in Hawaii, it started a stressful, very unexpected trip.
