President Donald Trump said on October 19 that India will continue to face “huge tariffs” if it continues to buy Russian oil.
“I spoke to Indian Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi, and he said we’re not going to get involved in Russian oil,” the president told reporters aboard Air Force One, repeating an earlier assurance he said he received from the Indian prime minister.
