Stephen Knight is planning to write the script for the upcoming James Bond film, adding another major talent to the creative team for the first Bond film under the control of Amazon MGM Studios.
The addition to Knight’s project comes just a month after Dennis Villeneuve was appointed director of a still-title-heavy film, and four months after Amy Pascal and David Heyman were announced as producers of a new bond project through Pascal’s photographs and films in his prime. Tanya Lapointe will serve as executive producer.
Amazon MGM signed a deal with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson in early March to gain creative control over James Bond IP.
UK Multi-Hyphenate Nite is best known as a creator, executive producer and writer BAFTA award-winning television series Peaky blinds.
