Voters in New York City will go to the polls on November 4 to cast their votes in a three-way mayoral race that could have far-reaching implications for the city and beyond.
Democratic Party candidate Zoran Mamdani, who calls himself a democratic socialist, is heavily favored to win. He will face former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is running as an independent, and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa, who is known for wearing a red beret.
