U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported a record low number of encounters with illegal immigrants in October, achieving six months of zero releases under current enforcement policies.
October marked the lowest start to a fiscal year in CBP’s history, as the Trump administration’s border enforcement efforts resulted in encounters with illegal immigrants at historic lows.
