Vivo on Thursday launched its first foldable smartphone, the X Fold3 Pro, in the Indian market. Uber’s luxury foldable phone will compete with Samsung Fold and OnePlus Open.
It is one of the first phones in India to come with Google Gemini Pro technology built-in.
Vivo X Fold3 Pro has a 6.53-inch external display and an 8.03-inch main display. Both AMOLED displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. The phone weighs 236 grams and is 11.2 mm bulky when folded. The display on the housing is protected by armored glass.
Vivo X Fold3 Pro has an IPX8 water resistance rating.
Vivo has added a 5,700mAh battery in the X Fold3 Pro, which is backed by a 100W fart charger.
The Vivo X Fold3 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and comes in a single variant with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 512GB internal storage. It runs on Funtouch 14 based on Android 14.
The X Fold3 Pro continues its partnership with Vivo and ZEISS and comes with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 64MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x zoom.
Both the front cover camera and the main screen have a resolution of 32 MP.
Vivo X Fold3 Pro will be available at ₹ 1,59,999 in Celestial Black color from June 13 on Flipkart stores, Vivo online stores and offline retail partners.
