The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits has fallen to the lowest level in more than three years, according to new data released by the Labor Department on Dec. 4.
The number of new unemployment insurance claims for the week ending November 29 fell by 27,000 to 191,000, marking the fourth consecutive week of declines.
