President Donald Trump announced today, September 2nd, that the US Space Command headquarters will be relocating from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama.

The Oval Office appearance, along with Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses, marked his first public event in about a week.

False reports of Trump’s passing went viral on social media this week. On several platforms, hashtags such as #TrumpisDead and #WhereIrStrump have gained popularity, confusing users and attracting media attention. Trump denounced the “very fake” news media over speculation about his health, but he appeared to have a wounded hand.

When referring to Space Command’s move, Trump said it would be “seven years,” adding that the change would bring “thousands of jobs” to Alabama’s so-called “rocket cities.”

Why Alabama got Space Command

Trump believed Alabama lawmakers were lobbying heavily, saying, “They fought harder than anyone else… That’s all they want to talk about.” He also suggested that Colorado’s universal mail voting system was involved in the decision. Trump said.

Defense Secretary Hegustes praised the move, warning that “anyone who controls the sky will control the future of war.” Vice President Vance called Huntsville “the right place” and “a visionary move.”

Trump is tackling tariffs

The relocation is not the only announcement. Trump has also vowed to appeal a federal court ruling that defeated some of his global tariffs. “Without tariffs, the country is facing serious and serious problems,” he told reporters, pledging to seek a “quick ruling” from the Supreme Court.

In another revelation, Trump said the US military “literally shot Lotta drugs into the boat, a drug-moving boat, that ship.”

National Guard Deployment to Chicago

The president also pledged to send the National Guard to Chicago to tackle violent crimes and illegal immigration, but he gave no timeline. “We’re going in. We’re not going to say when, but we’re going in,” Trump said, describing the city as a “hole of hell.”

AI-generated White House video?

Trump was questioned by Pete Doucy Fox News About the video that went viral online over the weekend, it shows someone throwing a bag out of the second-floor window of the White House. Trump claimed that the film was made by AI, noting that the windows in question are bulletproof and very armored, making it difficult to open.

The gusts of Trump’s announcement highlight his positive attitude towards defense, trade and law enforcement.
