US President Donald Trump told Cuba on January 11 that it should strike a deal with the US now that Washington is pressuring Venezuela to cut off oil and money supplies to the communist-held island.
After the U.S. military captured Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro on January 3, Venezuela’s interim leader Delcy Rodriguez redirected oil supplies to the United States.
