US President Donald Trump will become the first Syrian leader to visit Washington on November 10, welcoming Syrian President Ahmed al-Shalah to the White House.
The meeting came six months after Trump and Shaller met in Saudi Arabia and days after the United Nations and the United States lifted terrorism-related sanctions against the Syrian leader.
