On September 6, President Donald Trump amplified his rhetoric by sending him to Chicago by publicly stating his love for deportation and posting a meme that linked the Department of Defense rebranding to the city.
“I love the smell of morning deportation,” reads the caption of a meme that Trump shared on his true social platform. The caption is layered on the image of a Trump in a military-style uniform, squatting in front of a fiery background, with a series of helicopters flying past the city skyline.
