Donald Trump has shortened the time frame for the peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine to 10-12, the US president said on Monday when he visited the UK’s NATO allies.
“From today we’re going to have a new deadline of about 10, 10 or 12,” Trump said in response to a question while sitting with British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer. According to To the parents. “There’s no reason to wait. I want to be generous, but I’m not making any progress.”
Russian and Ukrainian diplomats met in Istanbul last week and agreed to another prisoner exchange. Ukraine proposed a summit between Ukrainian President Voldy Mie Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin by the end of August. However, Moscow said such meetings are only appropriate when signing an agreement.
The meeting was the third round of negotiations in Istanbul. President Putin has not attended any of the talks despite Trump’s recommendations. Ukraine celebrated Trump’s time slot.
