President Donald Trump said on September 19 that he had revoked Eric Sheebert’s appointment as US lawyer for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Siebert is currently in the tentative role of this role. He has led the investigation into a mortgage fraud case of New York Attorney General Letitia James, but his office has not found “innocent evidence” to bring about the charges, according to a joint statement by Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Tim Kaine (D-Va.).
