President Donald Trump announced on December 19 that his administration had sold more than $1.3 billion worth of Trump Gold Cards. It’s a new immigration program that offers fast-track stays for highly skilled foreign talent, with proceeds going to pay down the country’s debt.
In comments to reporters, President Trump said sales exceeded $1.3 billion and described the Gold Card as a “green card on steroids.”
