On the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, Titan chose Miami’s Come Ward. Just two seasons ago, Tennessee used a second round pick to select Will Revis from Kentucky.
It is reportedly a QB battle this offseason will be held between Ward and Revis. However, Titan announced news of an unfortunate injury Monday morning. In his third year, Pro Will Levis has undergone season-ending shoulder surgery. Camward is currently in the driver’s seat, becoming the starting QB for Tennessee in 2025.
Does Titan look like they’ll add QB depth this offseason after Will Revis news?
Titans QB Will Levis will undergo season-end surgery with a continued right shoulder injury early last year before it gets worse late in the season. Levis can’t shake up his discomfort, and his shoulders still bother him.

This is the second consecutive season when Levis missed time due to Titan injuries. In 2024 he missed three games with an AC joint injury. After last season ended, Levis hoped that rest and rehabilitation would heal the prolonged shoulder injury. During the team’s mini-camp, Levis began to experience discomfort. He began seeking medical opinions, which led to the decision to have end-of-season shoulder surgery.
The NFL Insiders reported that Levi will be performing the procedure on July 29th. In the Titans’ 12 starts last season, Levis was 2-10. He threw for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Levis started all 21 games he played for Tennessee. He began his year as a third string QB before starting nine games as a rookie in 2023.
Will Revis is making its appearance this year, and No. 1 Pick Come Ward is ready to become the Titans starting quarterback despite the fact that the team doesn’t name him his starter.

With the news of Levis, who lost the entire 2025 season, Titan shifts his attention completely to QB Cam Ward. The NFL insider said the team will have two QBs playing it in the starting spot during training camp and preseason. It’s likely that Ward won the job just because the team used the first overall pick to draft him. QB Get Drafted #1 rarely starts.
The latest examples are Jared Goff’s rookie season and the Rams. The team behind QB Camward on the Titans roster are Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle. Allen was with the 49ers in 2024 and started playing one game. He was his sixth pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Allen played for the Broncos, Bengal and the 49ers. Tim Boyle is an undrafted QB who played for six teams in six seasons. Tennessee will throw rookie QB Camward into the fire for the start of the 2025 season when Titans are on Denver’s roads.
