The SEMA the show is always great. This can be a little depressing though, because most vehicles as you can see, it will never be put up for sale. Not unless you’re willing to spend a lot of time and dollars parting with one. But sometimes one of them special vehicles from the series appears for sale in a random place. Take this 2022 SEMA Show Ford Maverick for sale Facebook Marketplace.
First spotted by Ford authoritiesthis Maverick was the result of an extensive collaboration between Saleen Performance, Toyo Tires, 3D Carbon and JBL Audio. This is a SEMA build, it’s all about the exterior.
Calypso green paint is available with white, pink and black accents. It looks great and honestly looks like something straight out of the 90’s. Up front is a custom grille with pink surround, with a gigantic front air dam and splitter. Next to it are side wishbones and fender flares that really highlight the size of the white powder-coated 22-inch TSW Daytona wheels.
At the rear, there are blacked-out taillights, pink trim around the “Maverick” badge, a pink bed spoiler, and dual exhaust pipes with white tips. Don’t get too excited by the sight of these exhaust outlets. Like the interior of this thing, the engine is completely stock, which makes me wonder what involvement Saleen Performance had here. However, not everything is in stock. This Maverick uses a custom air suspension with a bed-mounted compressor and is controlled by a device in the interior. A unique audio system configuration is also available. The bed-mounted wake tower features four marine-grade JBL speakers that can be raised and lowered with the touch of a button.
If you want this sweet looking Maverick, it’s going to cost you. Very. The car is currently for sale on Facebook Marketplace and on the website of Leif Johnson Ford in Austin, Texas. They’re asking a cold $85,000 for this Maverick. While the truck looks cold, it’s a real challenge with the custom paint, gigantic wheels, airbag suspension system, and four JBL speakers. If it made more of an impact on the standard interior and the standard 2.0-liter Ecoboost engine, this would be the case power be a bit more tempting.
