On Wednesday morning, Netflix released a recent trailer for its upcoming weekend episode starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The trailer begins with Janhvi and Rajkummar playing silly charades where the actress makes witty faces and the actor has to guess the name of the sweet dish. While imitating, Janhvi jokingly introduced various animals, but Rajkummar couldn’t guess their names. Later, the actress asks host Kapil Sharma not to include her antics in the trailer. However, after sharing a clip at the beginning of the trailer, Netflix also commented, “Sorry, mein dal diya trailer.”

The trailer also shows Kapil hilariously asking Janhvi about her expectations for a perfect life partner. He asked if she would choose a life partner with the same interests as “jis Shikhar par aap aaj hai”, which is in the context of her alleged lover Shikhar Pahariya. Hearing this, he begins to blush.
Cutting to another scene, Kapil questions Rajkummar about working with Jahnvi. The actor had previously worked with her in the film Roohi, in which she plays the role of a ghost, and in his next film Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, she is seen essaying the character of his wife. When asked whether Janhvi surprised him more as a ghost or as a wife, Rajkummar replies:
“It doesn’t matter if it’s a ghost or a wife, it’s the same.”
Both Rajkummar and Janhvi appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show to promote their upcoming film Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. Apart from Rajkummar and Janhvi, Mr. and Mrs. Mahi stars Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab and Purnendu Bhattacharya in the lead roles. Mr. and Mrs. Mahi is directed by Sharan Sharma, who made his directorial debut with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which also starred Janhvi in the lead role. Mahi State is backed by Hiroo Yash Johar. At the same time, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta were backing the film for Dharma Productions.
