Tata Altroz competitor: Project
The Altroz Racer will be available in three color options – Pure Gray, Atomic Orange and Avenue White. Each color is paired with a contrasting black finish and white racing stripes on the hood and roof. In addition, the radiator grille has a slightly refreshed look and receives “Racer” badges on the front fenders.
Tata Altroz Racer: Interior and Features
The sporty theme continues inside with a blacked-out cabin accented with red accents on the air conditioning vents, center console and seat upholstery, which also features sporty stripes.
Speaking of cabin changes, the most significant upgrade is the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 7.0-inch digital driver display. Additionally, this model features segment-first features such as ventilated front seats with a 360-degree camera and a voice-controlled sunroof. In terms of safety, the Racer comes standard with six airbags and electronic stability control (ESC).
Tata Altroz Racer: Engine
Under the hood of the Altroz Racer is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that works in the same mode as its bigger brother Nexon. This powertrain produces 120 HP and 170 Nm of maximum torque and is only available with the engine: six-speed manual gearbox.
Tata Altroz Racer: Prices
The Altroz Racer is available in three variants: R1, R2 and R3. The prices of these sporty hatchbacks start from Rs 9.49 lakh for the R1, go up to Rs 10.49 lakh for the R2 and go up to Rs 10.99 lakh for the R3. All prices are ex-showroom prices.
