As style enthusiasts know, there’s no better product review than when a fashion muse adds a hidden brand to her street style offerings – especially since she has access to all the high-end brands on the market. These still endorsements from celebrities are much more powerful than anyone might think NO Want to show that Hailey Bieber’s latest grocery run is “fit”? Once one celebrity gives a brand the coveted endorsement, the rest of the celebrities follow suit, which is exactly what happened to the Los Angeles-based loungewear brand, TO READ.
Unfortunately, identifying the brand behind an off-duty outfit isn’t as straightforward as identifying a designer’s red carpet look. That being said, if you’re following this year’s street style trends, you may not know it, but you’ve already spotted plenty of styles courtesy of LESET. Recently, on the set of her modern film in Up-to-date York, MaterialistsDakota Johnson was photographed by paparazzi wearing the label on two separate occasions. There was also Sofia Richie Grainge, who added a bottle of LESET to her casual maternity collection in April. While the It girl only joined the LESET bandwagon this year, Bieber has been styling the brand’s elevated levels since 2021, when she wore Pointelle Reservoir in a photo session for the Superga shoe label. Since then, he has styled himself the same way Kelly Crop T-shirt with a slim fit over ten times, and if her recent outings are anything to go by, she has no plans to stop anytime soon.
When LESET launched in 2019, it took Selena Gomez, Margot Robbie, Sienna Miller and Kylie Jenner just a few months to place an order. Her best-selling sets were initially inspired by the empty space in Chemla’s closet. “I wanted clothes that were comfortable enough to wear around the house but nice enough to wear, and I couldn’t find that balance in the market,” Chemla says. “I wanted dressing to be straightforward, and what’s easier than matching sets?” Driven by this immediate success, she founded the LESET foundation as “pillars of comfort, style and styling combined with 90s simplicity and timeless sensibility.”
Chemla believes that four years into its successful journey, there is a clear reason why leading figures keep coming back to LESET: “Our clothes highlight the individuality who wears them,” says Chemla. “They are peaceful but still luxurious and allow your personal style to shine.” While classic LESET sets are still a celebrity favorite, the brand now offers a versatile range of basic pieces that stars can mix and match with anything in their repertoire.
Sofia Richie Grainge
Just two weeks before Richie Grainge became a mother to her first child, Eloise, she posed for one last OOTD before giving birth. Her latest outfit, which she showed off on Instagram, included the James Pocket Pant by LESET. The elastic waistband and featherlight material make this model an ideal choice for an expectant mother. And the buttocks definitely made for the most adorable baby bump photoshoot. She completed her straightforward look with a white tank top and a fitted button-down shirt.
Dakota Johnson
Since filming Johnson’s upcoming project Materialists launched in April, the style icon delivers one stellar street style after another. We’re still not done with Jane’s khaki trench coat from LESET, which she wore between shots on May 13. The slightly oversized silhouette seemed very typical of Johnson.
A few weeks earlier, on April 29, Johnson was photographed wearing the brand’s black Lauren Racerback T-shirt during a scene with her partner, Chris Evans. She paired the low noir number with ultra-wide-legged jeans Triumvirate, an eco-friendly jeans brand. A pair of sage green Adidas Sambas peeked out from under her shadowy jeans, and they have since become one of her signature shoes.
Hailey Bieber
In December 2023, while she was on her way to a date with her husband at Beverly Hills hotspot Funke, Bieber’s pastel yellow ensemble peeked out from under her oversized Saint Laurent wrap coat. The top part was the company’s Lauren Crop Cardigan, and the bottom part was the matching Lauren Pocket Pant. In true Bieber form, she wore a baggy black hobo bag from Toteme for the evening.
If you followed Bieber’s casual looks last summer, you know that her signature look this season was vintage Levi’s denim shorts and a Kelly Crop Slim Fit T-shirt. For her July 26 outing, she wore a shadowy blue denim jacket, matching Saint Laurent hobo bag, Adidas Sambas, and gold hoop earrings.
Jennifer Lawrence
The white-on-white set is the quintessence of summer, and J.Law’s approach to a foolproof formula is extremely straightforward to copy. Last year for Mother’s Day in Up-to-date York, Lawrence styled one of LESET’s coveted matching ensembles, featuring the star-approved Margo Tee on top and the Yoko Cargo Pant on the bottom. She finished her all-white outfit with black accessories, including two-strap sandals and a slouchy shoulder bag from The Row, as well as Alaïa sunglasses.
Blake Lively
While out and about in Up-to-date York City in October 2023, Lively was impossible to miss in a dazzling yellow Zoe V-neck polo shirt by LESET. In addition to mid-wash jeans, she continued the monochrome moment with a Louis Vuitton Capucines BB bag and platform loafers from the Jvb x Nomasei collaboration, both with eye-catching yellow accents.
Riley Keough
In addition to Bieber and Lawrence, Keough is another ardent admirer of Margo Tee. On May 28, the star chose the brand’s most popular product for a casual grocery trip to Erewhon. She stuck to the modest vibe of our outing and combined the top with featherlight jeans, a roomy bag and black sneakers.
Issa Rae
While in Up-to-date York making headlines Barbie doll during the press tour, the actress waved to photographers before speaking at Good morning America. She wore a striking translucent crochet tank top and an identical mini skirt. Rae then accessorized with nude ankle-strap pumps from Stuart Weitzman and a brown mini Diana Tote Bag from Gucci.
