On September 18, the US Senate passed a resolution that it would be designated as “Charlie Kirk’s National Anniversary,” a conservative commentator who was assassinated at an event at the University of Utah on September 10th.
The resolution introduced by Senator Rick Scott (R-FLA) recognizes Kirk’s contribution to civic education and public services. The date matches what was Kirk’s 32nd birthday.
