WASHINGTON – Democrats are threatening to force a vote to abolish import tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump.
The announcement was made on social media by Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) in response to news reports in August that U.S. employment growth is slow. Democrats are attributing tariffs to slow down, claiming that retaliation tariffs in other countries have hurt U.S. exporters.
