San Sebastian winner ‘Afternoons Of Solitude’ lands North American deal

San Sebastian Golden Shell Winner A lonely afternoon A contract with Grasshopper films has been signed for North America.

The Albert Cera documentary profiles Andres Roca Ray, a celebrity bull fighter from Peruvian origin, and blends the visceral thrill of a man-bull encounter in a meditative filmmaking style.

The film took its US premiere at the New York Film Festival last fall and opened in a film at the Lincoln Center in New York on June 27th, followed by other cities.

Grasshopper film Ryan Clivoshay negotiated a deal with film boutiques Jean Christophe Simon and Julian Lazafindranary.

A lonely afternoon It was produced by Andergraun Films (Spain), Lacima Producciones (Spain), Idéale Aushion (France), and Rosa Filmes (Portugal).

Grasshopper distributed Sera’s previous films, settlement.
