The Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, is in the US and will play against Ireland in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on June 5 at the newly built Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Up-to-date York, followed by another league match against Pakistan on June 5.
With the first ICC tournament taking place in the US with co-host West Indies, even experts are not sure how the pitches, grounds and weather conditions will behave.

The Indian captain spoke exclusively to Live mintbefore leaving for the USA, regarding your expectations regarding the weather.
When asked about specific preparations, Rohit Sharma said, “We expect the weather to be warmer with plenty of sunshine and since we have already played in the US, we already have plans and preparations on how to face climate and weather changes with regard to our team’s performance . We have a balanced squad that can meet any challenge we face.

Meanwhile, before leaving for the US, Rohit also extended his partnership to continue as the brand ambassador for Oakley sports glasses.
When asked what is most crucial to him in sports glasses, Rohit replied that “the most crucial thing for him is comfort.”
On the other hand, Oakley brand manager Sahil Jindial opined that Rohit Sharma is an inspiration to the younger generation, which will aid in the growth of their brand.
