To tackle the prices of Sky High Supermarket, politicians defend a radical plan to abolish the requirement for product labels to become Dutch. The plan found favorableness to the VVD Party and economy minister Dirk Beljaarts, who share Klaver’s optimism about the information-packed QR code system. In theory, suppliers could print one label in several countries, reducing packaging costs and, if possible, reduce shop prices.
