With the government closure deadline less than a week has passed, there is no clear agreement on how to move forward between the two major political parties.
Government funds are set to expire on September 30th. Republicans are broadly united in supporting a clean, ongoing resolution (CR), Washington’s term for the suspension funding bill. President Donald Trump also supports clean CR.
