Mr. and Mrs. Mahi actress Janhvi Kapoor is all set to launch the trailer of her second film with Rajkummar Rao. The duo will exclusively premiere the trailer of their film today during the RR vs CSK match. Later, around 3:40 p.m., the trailer will be released on YouTube. Janhvi Kapoor gave a sneak peek at her preparations for the trailer launch. At the same time, the actor took part in a question and answer session on Instagram. Janhvi answered several questions, including one in which a user asked her if she emulated Zendaya’s fashion sense. Janhvi not only answered this question but also added Uorfi’s name to the list.

“Yes, I think I’m very inspired by what she’s done for her challengers and the promotion at Dune. Not only for her. I think Uorfi is inventive with her fashion. I feel like as actors we are all encouraged to dress methodically or similarly to our characters when promoting a film. I’ve never actually done this, except for Dhadak, but when I saw him do it and do it so well and also dress according to the theme of the film, I realized that as actors we pay a lot of attention to how we look and how we get dressed and if I can apply it to draw attention to my film, then why not. Zendaya’s mother showed us the way and how to do it really well. So yes, I was definitely inspired by that and I’m trying to follow in her footsteps,” the actor said.

The movie Mr. and Mrs. Mahi starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao has been making headlines for a long time. Apart from them, the film will also feature actors like Abhishek Banerjee, Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Zarina Wahab and Purnendu Bhattacharya. This sports drama is directed by Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl director Sharan Sharma. Mr. and Mrs. Mahi was announced in 2021 and shooting began in 2022. Ultimately, the film will hit theaters at the end of this month, i.e. May 31, 2024.
