Exclusive: Mokster Films in Singapore has won global rights to Taiwan’s first rotoscope animation feature Welcome to Dolly’s HouseIt will be released at the Cannes market.
The film was created and written by artist, curator and filmmaker Seven YCH, directed by Tree Muta (aka Liu Yu-shu) and Rady Fu, and directed by Dennis Wu Marry my body and In tag A trilogy as a producer. The live-action cast includes Teresa Daley, Yao Ai Ning, Bruce Chiu and Hannah Quinlivan.
The film follows a YouTuber who loves her fame and loves spiral to a spiral to a spiral of fame and love after a scandalous suggestion stunt leads her to a hidden doll maker, an unforgettable mansion, and a buried secret of her own identity.
It is a modern story from the story Taiping Guangjia major anthology compiled into a singular dynasty, containing 500 volumes, including many supernatural stories.

It marks Taiwan’s first major animation features, employs rotoscope techniques, and tracks live-action video frames frame by frame to create realistic character movements. The film has been in production for the past three years and was released in theaters in 2026.
Director Tree Matta previously co-directed 2022 3D animation Shiro – Hero’s HeroFu co-directed the 2016 drama Let’s meet again.
