President Donald Trump said on October 21 that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to reduce India’s imports of Russian crude oil in response to Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that he discussed the issue with Modi during a phone call on Tuesday. He said their conversation primarily focused on the U.S.-India trade relationship.
