The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has refused to sign a proposed Trump administration deal that would require campus reforms in exchange for preferential access to federal funding.
MIT President Sally Kornbluth announced the decision in a university-wide letter on October 10, accompanied by a formal response to Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, who invited nine universities to sign the new agreement.
