Michael B. Jordan is ready to shoot his movie I am a legend a sequel starring Will Smith will begin.
The Black Panther In a recent conversation, the star shared an update on the film’s status People magazine about its cooperation with Propel Fitness Water on “Fuel your city’s design.” He noticed it I am Legend 2 it’s “something that’s in the works.”
“We are still working on the script and perfecting it,” he continued. “There is no release date or anything like that. I’m not sure where exactly we’ll shoot it, but I’m really excited to be on camera with him [Smith]”
The actor said the Oscar winner is “someone I’ve admired for a really long time, [so] The opportunity to work with Will is something I’m really looking forward to. I’m really excited.”
The sequel to Smith’s 2007 post-apocalyptic film was originally announced in March 2022. The original film was about its hero, scientist Robert Neville, who is one of the world’s lone survivors of a disease that turns most people into zombie-like creatures. It was adapted from author Richard Matheson’s 1954 novel of the same name.
Smith has previously teased details about this I am Legend 2 in December 2023. He noted that although his character dies in the version of the first film seen in theaters, the DVD featured an alternate ending in the end credits, revealing that his character actually survived.
“So we start with the mythology of the DVD version where my character lived,” he explained at the time.
The original film’s co-writer, Akiva Goldsman, also returned to write the sequel
