The UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili broke the silence with a toe injury ahead of the UFC 316 main event.

Dvalishvili’s injury has temporarily raised doubts about Sean O’Malley’s rematch at UFC 316, but the fight goes as planned with the 135-pound king who has fully recovered from a toe injury.

Merab Dvalishvili reveals he has a toe injury

A few weeks before UFC 316 rematch Showdown and Sean O’Malley, the UFC Bantamweight Champion Merab Dvalishvili plunged MMA fans into a frenzy.

Dvalishvili recently joined social media and posted a video revealing she was suffering a brutal toe injury. Soon, fans responded to this, meaning that the 135 pound king would break out of a scheduled rematch with “SUGA” at UFC 316.

The video in question was posted by Merab himself on social media, where he revealed that he had a horrible toe injury. For a while, UFC president Dana White apparently had to find an alternative to O’Malley, cancel the fight, and cancel the entire UFC 316 card together.

Merab Dvalishvili vs Sean O’Malley Rematch Headlines UFC 316 won the UFC Bantamweight title on June 6th, but for a short time it appeared that the card had to be put on hold.

But now, apparent toe damage doesn’t seem to be a problem. This comes after Dvalishvili talks with Michael Bisping about the situation. He reassures his fans that he is healthy enough to compete in a few weeks.

UFC fans can rest assured that Merab DValishvili could not be pulled out of a rematch with Sean O’Malley at UFC 316 due to this toe injury.

Whether it bothers him or not remains unseen on the night of the fight. But for now, Georgian-American fighters are completely focused on defeating “Suga” once more and cementing themselves as the best 135-pound fighter on the planet.

Is Merab dvalishvili missing UFC 316 due to injury?

Following a recent post on social media, where it was apparent that Merab Dvalishvili had suffered a toe injury, MMA fans are worried that this might mean that the UFC Bantamweight champion has been taking action for a while.

With UFC 316 approaching, some fans felt this could mean that the entire pay-per-view event would be postponed.

However, since the original toe injury video Dvalishvili posted on social media, he revealed that his toes have not given him any issues and will definitely fight at UFC 316.

“The toes are good. Like I said, you can cut off something, but you don’t need to cut it out. That’s good. I don’t care.” The UFC Bantamweight Champion has been revealed.

In the instant, this toe injury seemed to put Dvalishvili’s UFC Bantamweight Title Defense in the hole on the hole against former champion Sean O’Malley, who became the 135-pound king last year.

But that’s definitely not the case, and the fight will move on as planned for the main event at UFC 316 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, June 6th.
