Mahindra XUV 700 Blaze version is based on the AX7 L variant and will be available with both petrol and diesel engines, with the diesel engine coming with MT and AT gearboxes, while the petrol engine will only be available with the AT option. The AX7 MT diesel is priced at Rs 24.24 lakh, the AT diesel variant is priced at Rs 26.04 lakh and the AT petrol is priced at Rs 25.54 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
The Blaze edition costs Rs 25,000 more than the equivalent AX7 L version and will only be available in a 7-seater option. In terms of changes, the Blaze edition will get a matte red finish with tinted trim for the roof, side mirrors, grille, alloy wheels and A, B and C pillars. It also gets Blaze Edition Badges on the tailgate and front fenders.

Once inside, the Blaze Edition has an all-black interior with contrasting red stitching on the upholstery and red accents on the air conditioning vents and center console. In terms of features, the SUV comes with a 10.25-inch dual screen – one for the infotainment system and another for the instrument cluster, in-car technology with AdrenoX connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control , 12-speaker Sony sound system with subwoofer, electronic parking brake and more.
As mentioned earlier, the Blaze Edition will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines – a 185 HP, 400 nm (MT), 450 nm (AT), 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 200 HP, 380 Nm, 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. The diesel engines will be offered with both a 6-speed MT automatic gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission with torque converter, while the petrol engine will only be available with a 6-speed automatic transmission with torque converter.
