The XUV 3XO is offered in nine variants – MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7 and AX7 L, and prices range from Rs 7.49 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The reasonable price of the variant is listed below.
Design
In terms of design, the 3XO is characterized by refreshed stylistic elements. It received a completely redesigned front fascia with all LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, a redesigned headlamp housing and a recent radiator grille design. There are very few minor changes to the sides, as well as newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the rear, the SUV features a redesigned tailgate with connected tail lamps, bold XUV 3XO lettering, integrated spoiler, high-mounted brake airy, side sill plates and more.
The XUV 3XO will be available in seven color options – Citrine Yellow, Dune Dust, Nebula Blue, Deep Forest, Stealth Black and Everest White. The higher specification PRO variants are also available in a two-tone option. Mahindra claims that the XUV 3XO has approach and departure angles of 23.6 degrees and 39.6 degrees respectively, and a water wading depth of 350 mm. Compared to the previous model, the trunk space has also been increased, from 257 liters to 295 liters, and 60:40 split seats are also available as standard.

In terms of features, the recent XUV 3XO has a redesigned dashboard layout with a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, AdrenoX connected in-car technology, audio system with Harman/Kardon 7 speakers, dual-zone climate control, widescreen roof, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, 65W Type-C charging port, ambient lighting, 360-degree surround camera, leatherette seats, revised center console and rear air conditioning vents, Type C port rear charging and more.

Security
In terms of safety, all variants come standard with 6 airbags, rear disc brakes, ESP and ISOFIX mounts. Higher specification variants come with electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, hill start and descent assist, 360-degree anti-roll bar, surround camera, blind spot monitor and ADAS level 2, which is a first in the segment. Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue will get ADAS Level 1 technology. Mahindra claims that the XUV 3XO’s front visibility is the same as the XUV 700. Additionally, ADAS Level 2, ESP technology, cameras and connectivity are the same as the 700.
Engine and gearbox
In terms of powertrain, the entry-level MX1, MX2 PRO, MX3 and AX5 variants are offered with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 111 PS, mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The other engine is a 1.5-liter turbodiesel with 117 HP, combined with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox. The AX5L and above variants are powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol unit producing 130 PS, which is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with Aisin torque converter and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
