After receiving positive reviews from film critics and audiences, Kiran Rao’s latest offering Laapataa Ladies has finally released on the digital platform. Produced by Aamir Khan under his banner Aamir Khan Productions, this comedy-drama is available to stream on Netflix. Sharing this update with viewers, Netflix took to its social media accounts and wrote, “TAAZA KHABAR: Laapataa Ladies mil chuki hai!” #LaapataaLadies, streaming starts at midnight on Netflix.”

The movie started slowly on March 1. However, thanks to positive recommendations and good reviews, it managed to accelerate the pace of box office sales. According to Sacnilk, the film opened for just Rs 75 lakh and grossed nearly Rs 4 crore in its opening weekend. It earned Rs 6.05 crore in its first week and Laapataa Ladies’ total box office collection after 50 days of its theatrical release was Rs 17.31 crore.
