Compared to the ZX-4R, the 4RR receives additional features and a modern color scheme.Design-wise, the bike looks the same as the ZX-4R, but it benefits KRT edition paint scheme over the ZX4R’s metallic black color scheme. The main frame of the bike is also the same, but the suspension setup is different. Preload adjustable front forks and fully adjustable rear shock.
In comparison, the ZX-4R has a non-adjustable front fork and a rear monoshock that can only be adjusted by preload. However, the braking system is the same and consists of 290 mm semi-floating front discs and a 220 mm rear disc. The bike also comes standard with a two-way quick-release coupling, which is an optional extra on the ZX-4R.
In terms of features, the 4RR has a 4.3-inch screen TFT display with display models such as – Bluetooth Normal and Circuit connectivity, Rideology app, all LED lighting, four riding modes – Sport, Road, Rain and Ride, traction control, ABS and more.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR is powered by the same 399 cc liquid-cooled engine inline four-cylinder engine which produces 77 HP of power at 14,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 13,000 rpm. In the case of RAM Air, the maximum power output increases to 79 HP. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a two-way quick shift lever.
