The countdown to the next edition of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has begun. Last week, the show’s creators announced that online registration for KBC 16 will start on April 26. The show’s host Amitabh Bachchan also took to his social media accounts and informed fans about the announcement. “So much love has been showered, it is coming back again, #KaunBanegaCrorepati. Registration begins for #KBCR on April 26 at 9 p.m.,” the legendary actor wrote in the caption. How to register?
Registration will begin this Friday at 9 p.m. with a question that will be broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television (SET). Viewers must answer the question and submit their details via SMS or the SonyLiv app. Lucky participants will be randomly selected and move on to the next round. According to several media reports, the recent season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will start on the TV channel in the last week of July or the first week of August.
On Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan shared some of his photos from the sets of the show and wrote in Hindi, “car mein dopahar ka bhojan karna pada, ab toh break lene ka samay bhi nahi hai (I had lunch in the car, like now there is no time for any breaks ).”
Other Large B projects
Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Naga Ahswin Kalki’s directorial 2898 AD, reportedly made on a whopping budget of RS 600 crore. The makers of the film recently released the trailer which gives details about the character Large B. Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of Ashwatthama in the upcoming film.
Apart from this, the legendary actor will also be seen in Rajinikanth’s 170th film, tentatively titled Vettaiyan (Thalaivar 170). The film will also mark his debut in Tamil cinema. He will also lend his voice to a song from a Kannada film titled Butterfly.
