Kalki 2898 AD remains in the news currently. Well, now fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. After several delays, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Kalki 2898 AD has finally announced its release date. The makers of Vyjayanthi Movies took to social media to share the date and fresh poster. Internet users were delighted with the fresh poster.
Recently, the makers revealed the look of Amitabh Bachchan in which he will play the role of Ashwatthama. In the promotional trailer, it begins with a child asking Gigantic B if it is true that he can never die. Later, the veteran actor can be seen revealing his full look and says, “Dwapar yug se dashavatar ki prateeksha kar raha hoon. Dronacharya ka putra, Ashwatthama.”
Made on a budget of Rs 600 crore, Kalki 2898 AD is considered to be the most costly Indian film ever made. Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is made with the support of Vyjatanthi Movies. Prabhas plays the lead role in Kalki 2898 AD. Together with him, Deepika Padukone will play not only the main female role in the film. But this is the first time she will be sharing screen space with Prabhas.
Kalki 2898 AD, shot under the direction of director Nag Ashwin, is a sci-fi film in which renowned stars like Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Rajendra Prasad and Pasupathi also play vital roles. Ever since the film was announced, there has been enthusiasm among the audience. Kalki 2898 AD will hit the screens on May 9 this year in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
