In the 2016 NFL Draft, the charger chose Joey Bosa and the third overall pick from Ohio State. As a rookie, Bosa played 12 of his 16 games and made 11 starts. He finished with (10.5) sacks, lost 17 tackles and hit 21 QB to win the AP defensive bluekey of the year in 2016. Up to four of his first six seasons in LA, Bosa chose four Pro Bowl selections. From 2016 to 2021, Bosa had a total of 58 bags for chargers.

Since 2021, Bosa has not been able to hit double-digit bags in one season. He has a total of 14 bags over the past three years. Injuries in 2022 and 2023 limited BOSA to 14 games over these two seasons. In 2024, Bosa bouncing and played 14 of the 17 games on chargers. He got nine starts, with five sacks, two forced fumbles, three tackles for three losses and 13 QB hits.

Bosa is far from the player he once was at the beginning of his career. However, he still has some gas left in the tank, and Buffalo feels the same way. They gave the 29-year-old a $12.6 million deal for a year. The five-time Pro Bowler will turn 30 before the start of the 2025 season. Bosa will be the starter of Bufoulo’s defensive line alongside Greg Rousseau. Buffalo gave Rousseau a four-year extension over the weekend. The bill hopes that Joey Bosa will become an effective player in 2025. It was his first season with Buffalo and placed 10th in the NFL.
