After a 44-22 win against the Cardinals in Week 10, the Seahawks improved to 7-2 in 2025. In addition, the team won four straight games. Offensively, Seattle has been one of the top teams in the NFL this season. His 30.6 points per game ranks third in the league. Additionally, Seattle’s 246.1 passing yards per game in 2025 is the seventh-most in the NFL. The Seahawks are developing an explosive passing offense heading into 2025.
That’s thanks to his connections with Sam Darnold and Jackson Smith-Njiba. Credit the Seahawks for trading DK Metcalf this offseason and knowing they had a legitimate WR1 in Smith-Nijiva. As the Seahawks’ WR2 in 2024, Jackson Smith-Njiba had 100 catches, 1,130 yards, and six touchdowns. Through nine games in 2025, Smith-Nijiva had 63 catches for 1,041 yards and five touchdowns. His 115.7 yards per game is an NFL high this season.

Sam Darnold and Jackson Smith-Njiba have connected on passes of at least 40 yards six times this season. Seattle’s all-time receiving record is DK Metcalf’s 1,303 yards in 2020.
