Bollywood diva Jacqueliene Fernandez, also known for being an ardent animal lover, has now come out in support of them, urging everyone to adopt instead of shopping. The 38-year-old actress took to Instagram and shared a video in her story section that showed the disturbing conditions in which the dogs, including two Pomeranians, one husky and one poodle, were kept by the breeder before they were rescued. She captioned the clip: “Another reason to adopt rather than shop. The animal farming industry is cruel and often illegal.”

On the work front, Jacqueliene was last seen on screen in Rohit Shetty’s directorial ‘Cirkus’. The actress will next be seen in Fateh opposite Sonu Sood. The film, which also stars Vijay Raaz, tells the story of an ex-gangster hired to protect a adolescent woman.
Jacqueliene will also appear in a multi-starrer film titled Welcome to the Jungle, which is the third installment in the Welcome series. The film is scheduled to hit the gigantic screens on Christmas this year. In 2007, the first part of the “Welcome” series was released, starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal. The second part, titled Welcome Back, was released in 2015 and featured John Abraham and Shruti Haasan.
Apart from this, Jacqueliene has been in the news recently for her alleged involvement in a money laundering case that also involved fraudster Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Recently, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) opposed a plea filed by Bollywood diva Jacqueliene Fernandez seeking quashing of the ECIR (FIR) and additional charge sheet filed by the ED in a money laundering case involving Rs 200 crore.
