The Dodgers took a 3-0 World Series lead on Monday night, only one game away from completing a championship sweep with the Yankees.
The Dodgers control the Yankees
There’s one game standing between the Dodgers and the first MLB title since 2020 after Los Angeles dominated again in Game 3 with the Yankees.
The Dodgers won 4-2 in two games in a row, but the Yankees were not close to winning.
Shohei Ohtani drew a leadoff walk early, and Freddie Freeman doubled the advantages of LA on his third home run in the World Series so far.
Mookie Betts took third place in Game 3, with the Dodgers taking a 4-0 lead before the final innings, tied it all down too much for New York to come back.

Alex Verdugo and Anthony Rizzo scored a late Yankees run to avoid a shutout, but it was too late for New York, looking forward to keeping their hopes alive in Game 4 on Tuesday night.
History is not on the Yankees’ side after the third game of the series, as no team in MLB history has overcome a 3-0 deficit in the World Series.
In fact, only one team has returned from 3-0 in the postseason series, and the Red Sox pulled out a comeback with the Yankees over 20 years ago.
But you’ll never say anything about baseball, and there’s still a chance that the Yankees can go back and win the World Series, but you could oppose them.
