ICE to Resume Operations at Farms, Hotels, but Will Focus on Criminals: Homan

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) authorities will continue to target farms, hotels and restaurants, but will focus on people with ties to criminal organizations.

Border Emperor Tom Homan told reporters that federal authorities will focus their efforts on individuals who have “detective Nexus, human trafficking, forced labor, tax fraud, or tax evasion.” Homan said he was sympathetic to industries affected by immigrant enforcement, but added that enforcement of them is ice’s job as long as the law is in the book.
