Annu Kapoor’s latest offering Humare Baarah will make its grand debut at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2024. The film will hit theaters on June 7. Interestingly, Humare Baarah is a film that is ready to shine across the world with its grand premiere at a prestigious film festival. Apart from Annu Kapoor, the film also stars Ashwini Kalsekar, Manoj Joshi and Parth Samthaan in pivotal roles. Recently, the makers revealed the trailer of the film.
Badri-Kedar temple committee chairperson Ajendra Ajay is the artistic director of the film. The plot of the film is said to be based on a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh and tells the story of a rapidly growing population.
Talking about the film, Annu Kapoor said in an interview with the media, “Working on Humare Baraah was an amazing journey for me. The film deals with some sophisticated and sensitive topics and I believe the novel title better suits our story. I can’t wait for viewers to experience the heart and soul of this project on June 7.”
The film is produced by Ravi S Gupta, Birender Bhagat and Sanjay Nagpal. Kamal Chandra is the director of Humare Baarah. The story was written by Rajan Agarwal. In India, the film will be released by Viacom 18 Studios and its global release will be handled by Rising Star Entertainment UK.
For the uninitiated, Parth Samthaan is making his debut with Humare Baarah. According to several media reports, he was supposed to start his Bollywood career with Googly Ho Gayi in 2016, but the project was later shelved. Apart from Humare Baarah, the actor will also be seen in Ghudchadi alongside Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt.
