WASHINGTON – The House Rules Committee on July 2 went on to advance the Senate-Passed version of one big beautiful bill law, reaching President Donald Trump’s desk and bringing him a step closer to providing the legislative agenda for his signature.
The tally was 7-6. Ralph Norman (Rs.C.) and Chip Roy (R-Texas) joined all Democrats in a vote against the committee’s report. Progress in the House comes hours after the Senate voted Vice President JD Vance to pass the bill slightly.
