The much-awaited House of Dragon Season 2 will finally be released soon. After the huge success of the first season, the second season will premiere on the OTT platform Jio Cinema. Actor Tom Glynn-Carney, who will reprise his role as King Aegon II, talked more about his character and mentioned that he finally understood his role while playing the role.
Tom Glynn-Carney said: “As an actor you should never judge a character because I feel like if you judge them you might not like them and that’s not good. So you must learn to love them at all costs. Either way, I don’t like Aegon. I think he is extremely troubled and very complicated, for good reason. I think he had abandonment issues and I think he has a guilt intricate. “I also think he feels inadequate and undetectable (or at least he was in the past) to his family.”
For the uninitiated, in addition to Tom Glynn-Carney, the series stars “Matt Smith (Prince Daemon Targaryen), Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower), Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen), Eve Best (Rhaenys Targaryen), Steve Toussaint (Lord Corlys Velaryon) ), Fabien Frankel (Ser Criston Cole), Ewan Mitchell (Aemond Targaryen).
They will be joined by a whole host of recent cast members, including Abubakar Salim (Alyn of Hull), Gayle Rankin (Alys Rivers), Freddie Fox (Ser Gwayne Hightower), Tom Taylor (Lord Cregan Stark) and Vincent Regan (Ser Rickard Thorne). and many others.
