Vélez-Málaga will witness the emergence of a pioneering industrial and logistics hub, spanning approximately 75,000 square meters along the A-7 highway. Leading by the property owners, Salsa Inmobiryia took the lead, and the green light was given to begin urbanising the development.
Strategic position and vision: The future of economic growth
This ambitious city and business project, known as El Higuaral in the Veles Malaga sector, can not only promote economic progress in the region, but also improve the quality of life for its residents. Located at a major location adjacent to the A-7 expressway, and with stones thrown from Elgenio Shopping Centre and Malaga city, the land covers 166,890 square meters, with 74,424 square meters designated as net plots, with the rest designated for roads, parking, amenities and green spaces.
Impact on employment and local development
This development will significantly increase employment opportunities by establishing a vital business hub for supply chain management, manufacturing and services that cater to Eastern Costa del Sol. Construction is expected to begin soon and will take 18 months.
Following full occupation of the agricultural park, the initiative aims to address the current productive land shortage, addressing the escalating demand for quality facilities that are attractive for local businesses and large-scale logistics and business setups.
