Jordan Love and the Packers were at home against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9. Green Bay wore new “1923 Classic” jerseys. It was a navy uniform with gold numbers and stripes on the shoulders. It also featured a helmet that was hand-painted to look like leather.
In Week 9, the Packers offense struggled against the Panthers. Green Bay scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter to tie the game, but lost to Carolina on a walk-off field goal. During the 16-13 loss to the Panthers, Packers tight end Tucker Craft suffered a serious knee injury. He had to be dragged off the field. The team is concerned that Kraft may tear his ACL and miss the remainder of the 2025 season.
All signs point to Tucker Craft missing the remainder of Green Bay’s regular season.

With a third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Packers selected TE Tucker Craft from South Dakota State University. As a rookie, Craft played in all 17 games for Green Bay, starting eight. During the 2024 season with the Packers, Tucker Craft started all 17 regular season games. He finished the season with 50 catches, 707 yards, and seven touchdown receptions.
Tucker Craft is off to an incredibly strong start for the Packers as 2025 begins. Entering Week 9, he led the team in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. In Week 8 against the Steelers, Tucker Craft had seven catches, 143 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. It was probably the most productive match of his young career.
It was a bad loss to the Panthers.
Losing Tucker Craft for the season would be far worse.

In Week 9 against the Panthers, Tucker Craft finished the game with just two receptions for 20 yards. That’s because Kraft suffered a serious knee injury in the third quarter. Kraft had to be dragged off the field, which was never a good sign. After the game, head coach Matt LaFleur spoke as if the Packers would be without Craft for the rest of the season.
LaFleur said other players will have to fill in for Kraft in his absence. Losing Tucker Craft is a big blow to the Packers offense. He was Jordan Love’s top target to begin the 2025 season. Green Bay is known for spreading the ball around with Jordan Love, but Kraft has always been his go-to target. Now, the team will likely be without the 25-year-old for the remainder of the 2025 season. The Packers have Luke Musgrave and John Fitzpatrick as backup tight ends. Without Craft, Muasgrave and Fitzpatrick will see more playing time.
