President Donald Trump said on November 16 that Republicans are working on legislation that would impose sanctions on countries doing business with Russia.
Asked if it was time for Congress to put pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump told reporters: “I hear they are doing that, and that’s fine. Republicans are enacting legislation that is very tough, sanctions against countries that do business with Russia.”
