Giannis Antetokounmpo gives an honest self-review after the Bucks are defeated

Giannis Antetocomo and the Bucks endured a difficult match against the Clippers as the Milwaukee side beat 127-117 in Los Angeles.

Although this was the 18th loss of the season, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetocomo was given great praise for his regular star quality.

The 30-year-old has performed above average this season, scoring 36 points, creating the block with 13 rebounds, one assist and just 35 minutes of action.

Despite his excellent performance against the Clippers, Giannis Antetocomo was clearly annoyed after the match, and gave an honest review of his part in a post-match interview.

He said: “Every time I step onto the floor, I try to play hard. Whether I’m playing against an older player, a younger player, a sibling, a friend, or a wife, I’ll be honest with you, I’m always playing hard.”

So far, in the 2024-25 campaign, Giannis has been looking for his third NBA MVP award, averaged 31.4 points, 12 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.4 blocks per game.

During his defeat to the Clippers, the 30-year-old defeated 35 points for the 11th time this season, revealing that a small mistake in the final quarter would cost the Los Angeles Bucks.

He said: “We couldn’t take care of the ball either because it felt like the beginning of the fourth quarter. They were able to easily transition in the opposite way, get 3 seconds and reach the free throw line, every time we flipped the ball.

“They had momentum and it was very difficult to get back into the game. The next time they’re in the same position, they have to do a better job. They just take care of the ball.”
