The teacher who maintains her innocence is reported to regularly humiliate 11-year-old Evael in front of her peers.

Teachers at French schools should appear in court on Monday and Tuesday after being accused of harassment by an 11-year-old student.

Six years ago, Evael’s father found his daughter dead in a bedroom in the northwest Paris suburb of Herbley-Cha-Sein.

He discovered a diary that Evael wrote about being harassed at school and listed the names of those who “troubled” her.

One of Evael’s teachers who deny the allegations is suspected of harassment.

According to a court referral order seen by French outlet Frenchfo, teachers are said to have “regularly humiliated in front of class.”

The document also stated that “this repetitive behavior” led to “a very significant deterioration in the living conditions of young girls who have become increasingly isolated and defensive.”

The teacher, who is on trial at Pontoise Crown Court, worked at the Valdoise division secondary school, which Evael attended for six months until September 2018.

The girl’s parents filed a police complaint about the teacher’s behavior and decided to move her daughter to another school.

Evael passed away in June 2019.
